Apple .mac - Image 1Here's another juicy piece of Apple-flavored rumor to chew on while waiting for the unconfirmed iPhone 2.0 release. According to an anonymous tipster at TUAW, the .mac application will undergo a major overhaul, and will be relaunched sometime soon alongside with the new Apple iPhone (which may possibly include 3G).

The changes that will supposedly be implemented include syncing of contacts, calendar, and email over the air, as well as .mac syncing with Windows. So when will we see the re-introduction of the spiffed-up .mac to the public? It may be very soon, in the upcoming WWDC 08 event.

Here's hoping that we're going to see many of these rumors come to light. Do check back for more updates.
