StarCraft II sold a million at Day 1 - an impressive feat, though not as good as World of Warcraft in its debut. After selling half a million more in the next 24 hours, it became the fastest-selling RTS of all time. How'd the sales go in the succeeding weeks? Great, apparently. The numbers are in and StarCraft II has passed the three million mark in its first month in the market. |

We've seen many characters fight it out in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 but Capcom has yet to reveal the complete roster. He didn't give any hints as to who else is in it, but back in GamesCom, producer Ryota Niitsuma talked about how they decide who makes it to the roster and who doesn't. In case the less-than-enthusiastic translation gets you down, the vid's still packed with impressive combo footages to make up for it. |

It was a pretty big update down at the US Store in its last update, what about Europe? They're also getting Valkyria Chronicles II and a whole bunch of add-ons, so that's good news. No Tik-Creat games to go on sale, but the Untold Stories of Resident Evil 5 are now much easier on the wallet. For all the others, you can find them right here. |

The wait is over - Valkyria Chronicles II is now available in North America. One of the more notable features about the sequel is its multiplayer where you can take up to three friends along for the ride. Despite the game being a turn-based tactical RPG, you and your pals still get to move simultaneously in real-time. Wonder how that's gonna work? Sega's got that covered. |

When hooked up to Jigsaw's cleverly-devised deathtraps, you know the consequence of failure means, well, death. It sounds a little lame when you put it that way. How you die is where the fun is. In Saw II: Flesh & Blood, you'll be playing live-or-die in more of Jigsaw's contraptions, but even if you fail, you can always watch the interesting result. That's you getting mutilated. Needless to say, the vid's a little gorey, so stay back if that's not your cup of tea. |

Dead Rising 2 producer Mike Schmitt has already talked about the basics of the storyline back in June. Through this dev diary, the rest of the crew flesh it out a bit to give you a better idea of what'll go down in the game. Daughter gets bitten, Chuck needs to raise money for the pricey cure - sounds simple, but there's a bigger conspiracy at play here. |

Over the next few days we’ll be reviewing some more of the best free games here on www.iPad.net. First up is Real Solitaire Free by EdgeRift. Solitaire is such an historic and well known game that it barely needs an introduction. This EdgeRift version gives you various playing options and has been designed specifically with the iPad in mind, complete with crisp clear graphics and discrete playing sounds. As a free app, Real Solitaire Free contains advertisements which occupy the bottom of the screen. I’ve heard some people moan and groan about this. Come on guys: EdgeRift have to make their money somehow, and the onscreen adverts really don’t interfere with gameplay. If you really don’t like ads in your apps, then there are plenty of paid gaming apps on a Solitaire theme.
